After many years of research Alhenia has developed a reliable package of technology which allows spraying porous Ti coatings on medical components made of PEEK.  The coatings have similar properties as the ones applied on metal substrates for cement-less implantation.

 

This particular know-how opens a new horizon to develop the industry with new applications. This unique combination of porous Ti with PEEK has a great potential for spine and extremities implants and will enable to substitute some metal substrates used in the orthopaedics filed.

 

Many of our customers have already qualified their products with HeniaPore-K Titanium coating and many patients in Europe already enjoy the additional features of coated PEEK.
